Prestigious Two-Star Award Honours EBV’s Regional Sales Office in Leonberg for Its Contribution to National Semiconductor’s Central European Distribution Business

Munich -- National Semiconductor has awarded the Leonberg (Stuttgart) regional sales office of semiconductor specialist distributor EBV Elektronik, an Avnet Company, its Two-Star award for achieving over $20 million in component sales during 2003. This is the first time a sales office in National’s distribution network worldwide has received this recognition. National’s Star award directly reflects the results achieved by distribution partners and each Star represents $10 million in resale revenue. EBV Leonberg not only achieved sales above $20 million during 2003, but grew its business by nearly 50 percent, compared with 2002.
